Shilo Sanders, son of Colorado head coach and Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, grabbed attention this week. He stepped into acting, playing a younger version of his dad in a noteworthy move.
Brent Schrotenboer from USA Today reported that Shilo took on the part of Deion in the season finale of the Starz crime series BMF, shown on Friday night.
In an Instagram post, Deion praised Shilo for his performance in the show and for seizing a major opportunity.
Guess who’s stepping into the role of Young PRIME in BMF Season 3 Episode 10? Shilo Sanders! So proud of him, he nailed it! The Sanders brothers are really shining bright, using their talents and enjoying life to the fullest. Keep living, guys.
Deion’s known for his legendary skills in the NFL, but now he’s carving out a spot for himself in coaching too.
In his three years at Jackson State, he made a big change. Then he moved to Colorado. Last season, the team improved to 4-8 under Coach Prime, after winning only one game in 2022.
Last year, Deion brought some new talent to Boulder, even his sons Shilo and Shedeur Sanders joined the team.
Shilo had a standout season in 2023, with his best stats yet: 67 tackles, four forced fumbles, and one interception.
Shilo’s making waves off the field too. His name, image, and likeness value ranks 18th among college athletes, at $1.1 million, according to On3. And with his Hollywood gigs, that value’s bound to shoot up even higher.
