Travis Hunter isn’t the only one in Colorado football’s gray practice jersey club anymore. On Thursday, trainer Lauren Askevold shared a video on Instagram showing spring standout Isaiah Hardge in a gray jersey, indicating he’s getting reps on both offense and defense during fall camp.
At 5-foot-10 and 160 pounds, this versatile athlete excels as a wide receiver, running back, and cornerback, and now sports a jersey that fits his skills perfectly.
Hardge joined the Buffs as a three-star wide receiver from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in the 2023 recruiting class. As a true freshman, he was listed as a defensive back and played in three games, mostly on special teams.
Due to injuries and roster changes, Hardge stepped up as a running back in CU’s spring game in April. He impressed with 65 rushing yards, including a 40-yard touchdown. His performance likely showed coaches he can excel in multiple roles.
