As the 2024 season begins, Colorado star Travis Hunter is setting high goals for himself and his team.
Hunter shared with ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg that his main goal for the upcoming season is to reach the top of college football.
“I want to win the Heisman and a bowl game or reach the national championship,” Hunter said.
Hunter, a standout cornerback and wide receiver for the Buffaloes, thrilled fans with his performance. In his first year at Colorado in 2023, after transferring from Jackson State, he grabbed 57 catches for 721 yards and five touchdowns, while also contributing 30 tackles, five pass defenses, three interceptions, and two tackles for loss in nine games.
The 21-year-old was named an All-American and won the Paul Hornung Award for versatility in college football.

Rittenberg shared that Hunter will keep his current role with the Buffaloes in 2024. Coach Deion Sanders plans to use him extensively on offense, defense, and special teams.
If Hunter stays healthy this season, heโll be a strong contender for the Heisman Trophy. His performance on both sides of the ball will boost Coloradoโs chances for a bowl game.
