Shedeur Sanders Signs NIL Deal With Nike For Shoes And Apparel

Nike has signed Shedeur Sanders to an NIL deal before Colorado’s 2024 season starts.

Nike announced Sanders’ new deal for official apparel and footwear.

Sanders has racked up impressive NIL deals during college, boasting the top valuation of $4.7 million, according to On3.com.

Currently, no other athlete surpasses $4 million, with LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne at $3.9 million. Texas quarterback Arch Manning holds the second spot in college football with a $3.1 million valuation.

Alongside his new Nike contract, Sanders had existing partnerships with Gatorade, Google, Urban Outfitters, and EA Sports. He also debuted a podcast called 2Legendary on July 30.

Expectations are sky-high for Sanders in his senior year. After a standout 2023 with 3,230 passing yards, 27 touchdowns, and just three interceptions in 11 games, fans are eager to see more.

After a strong 3-0 start, Colorado struggled, losing eight of its last nine games. Head coach Deion Sanders brought in 43 new transfers to revamp the team.

The Buffaloes got a single vote in the AP Top 25 preseason poll. Their season opener is at home this Thursday against North Dakota State.

If Sanders has another standout season, he’s likely to be a top pick in the 2025 NFL draft. He could also become a Heisman contender if he performs well and helps Colorado vie for a Big 12 championship in their return to the conference.
