Youth football sensation Madden “Baby Gronk” San Miguel committed to the University of Colorado on Friday, his third commitment in two weeks.

Baby Gronk committed to Ohio State on May 10, then switched to Michigan four days later.

According to X community notes, Baby Gronk, being only 11 years old and part of the class of 2031, hasn’t received official scholarship offers. Therefore, his commitments aren’t officially binding.

Besides Colorado, Ohio State, and Michigan, Baby Gronk had also pledged to LSU, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and Missouri before changing his mind.

Baby Gronk’s dad, Jake San Miguel, told The Athletic’s Ari Wasserman that Arizona has given a verbal offer, but an official commitment has to wait until Baby Gronk reaches seventh grade.

Arizona would be a great place for Baby Gronk, as NFL star Rob Gronkowski also played there before his successful career with the Patriots and Buccaneers.

On the Bussin with the Boys podcast, Gronkowski expressed discomfort with how Jake San Miguel has pushed his son into the spotlight, describing it as “awkward” and saying it has “gone too far” (via CBS Sports’ Steven Taranto).

Another change might be coming soon, but Colorado could give Baby Gronk the media attention his father wants.

Last season, Colorado’s football team gained a lot of attention with Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders becoming the head coach.

The Buffaloes improved to 4-8, up from just one win last season. Coach Prime also brought in a lot of new talent to Boulder.

According to On3, Colorado football boasts three of the top 18 college athletes in NIL value.

Deion Sanders’ son, Shedeur, tops the list at $4.6 million, while Travis Hunter ranks fourth with $2.7 million. Deion’s other son, Shilo, holds the 18th spot with an NIL value of $1.1 million.

If Coach Prime’s still at Colorado in 2031, teaming up with Baby Gronk could be a big money-maker.
