Olympians and Gridiron Greats Top Colorado’s 2025 Athletic Hall of Fame Class

The University of Colorado announced its 20th Athletic Hall of Fame class on Wednesday, a star‑studded group of 11 Buffs whose accomplishments stretch from the late 1930s to the present day. Five sports, two Olympic Games, and decades of front‑office service are represented in the class that will be enshrined Nov. 20‑22 in Boulder.

Football icons book‑end the lineup.

Place‑kicker Mason Crosby—still CU’s career scoring leader and the all‑time points leader for the Green Bay Packers—joins former walk‑on receiver/returner Jeff Campbell and tackling machine Barry Remington among the inductees. Early‑era All‑America forward Jim Willcoxon enters through the Veterans Committee for his two‑sport exploits in the late 1930s.

Two Olympians bring international flair.

Distance star Shalaya Kipp, CU’s first woman to win an individual Pac‑12 track title and a 2012 Olympic steeplechaser, is joined by Nordic skier‑turned‑biathlete Joanne Reid, a 2018 and 2022 U.S. Olympian who powered Colorado to two NCAA team crowns.

Multi‑sport excellence continues on the track and hardwood.

Pentathlon record‑setter Pam Owen McCartney and men’s basketball scoring king Richard Roby round out the athlete selections. Roby graduated in 2008 with 2,001 points—still tied for the CU career mark—while Owen McCartney held the program’s indoor pentathlon record for two decades.

Buffs who served behind the scenes also earn their due.

Trail‑blazing administrator Kris Livingston, who oversaw academic support for nearly 400 student‑athletes each year, becomes the first woman from CU’s senior leadership to enter the Hall. The Legacy Wing welcomes Steve Bosley, co‑founder of the BOLDERBoulder 10K, and longtime women’s basketball radio analyst Carol Callan for their decades of service to Colorado athletics.

Hall of Honor selections celebrate post‑CU achievements.

Alpine skier Erin McEachren, now a Medtronic vice president, and former football fullback‑turned‑Metropolitan Opera bass‑baritone Keith Miller join the revived Hall of Honor, which recognizes Buff letter‑winners who excelled in professional life after graduation.

Induction weekend details.

The class will be feted during Hall of Fame Weekend with a Thursday banquet, a cameo in the Friday‑night Pearl Street Stampede, and on‑field introductions at halftime of the Nov. 22 home finale against Arizona State. Their addition will push Colorado’s Hall membership to 177 individuals, plus the celebrated 1959 ski team.
