Excitement For Deion Sanders Grows As Colorado Sells Out Season Tickets Again

Excitement for Colorado football with Coach Deion Sanders continues to grow. For the second consecutive year, the Buffaloes have sold all their season tickets, the school announced Monday, crediting Sanders’ influence for the strong sales.

Before Coach Prime, Colorado hadn’t sold out season tickets since 1996, ending a seven-year streak from 1990. This is now the 10th time in the program’s history they’ve sold out.

“Selling out season tickets again highlights our passionate fans and their trust in Coach Prime,” said Colorado athletic director Rick George statement. “We’re excited for the 2024 season and expect a full house at every game, just like last year.”

This fall marks a new chapter as Colorado rejoins the Big 12 with Arizona, Arizona State, and Utah. Despite starting 3-0 under Coach Sanders, beating TCU, Nebraska, and Colorado State, the team lost eight of their last nine games, ending 4-8. This was Colorado’s 16th losing season in 18 years.

Colorado starts its season at home on Aug. 29 against North Dakota State, a strong team known for challenging and often upsetting power-conference opponents.
